NC Senate Bill 64 Call to Action - CLOSED

B.O.L.T. of NC initiated an in-state Call to Action on 7/28/2009 at 4:33 PM opposing Senate Bill 64, Motorcycle Learners Permits.

The main purpose was to let the bill sponsor, Senator Harry Brown, know our collective and individual positions in opposition to the bill. Prior to this action, the senator had claimed that he received no input from the motorcycling community about this bill. We knew this to be untrue due to emails sent by B.O.L.T. members and supporters, to him and all senators since March.

The call to action ended on July 29.

SB 64 was amended in the NC House and passed on July 30.
