GRIEVANCES DAY is a national day to bring grievances to wherever laws are made and signed into law. It is a day owned by the people. Do not expect government or their mainstream media whores to cooperate in announcing this. If someone brought grievances to legislative bodies (Congress, state legislators, city councils, etc...) during the year, and they are not resolved, this is a day for ALL to gather, bring your list of unresolved grievances, and remind elected representatives to do the work of the people!
In 2010, GRIEVANCES DAY IS FRIDAY APRIL 16, 2010
with local protest events the following day and into the weekend.
This is an annual event on the 3rd Friday of April. Protest actions follow the next day and into the weekend.
As posted in the current issue of BIKER, (the Paisano Publication that brought you Easyrider Magazine) motorcyclists should contact their local motorcycle rights organization to find out about local events. If a motorcyclist rights organization has no plans, perhaps they are not what they claim to be.
In the capital of North Carolina, Raleigh NC.
You can contact jan for further information. I will be presenting grievances in the state capital, Raleigh, on Grievances Day. ALL people, whether by foot, or hoof, or wheels, are invited to take a Freedom Walk with me as we go from the Governors Mansion at noon to the Legislative Building and then to the Capitol. BRING YOUR LIST OF GRIEVANCES and we will read them in public. There are no microphones so we will speak loud. Our permit is the 1st Amendment, and it has been secured by the blood of our ancestors.
Please feel free to use the comments area to post any local plans. Whether it is just one person or 100,000, telling your elected representatives of your grievances should always precede protest actions.
